Visitors from many countries do not require a visa for stays for less than three months. However, given the fluid state of international relations, we encourage you to check for any changes or additional requirements before you book with us. Please check with the New Zealand Consulate in your country or alternatively, let us know where you will be coming from and we can check on your behalf.

Importing firearms into New Zealand is a straightforward process. There is a small $NZ25 fee payable at the airport for a temporary firearms license. Certain firearms, such as handguns, are restricted or banned from entering the country. Please let us know if you have any doubt and we will ensure there are no surprises.

New Zealand’s reliance on agriculture and export means that we have strict bio-security controls at our borders, which essentially prohibit the importation of any un-processed organic material. Again, if in doubt, please let us know.
