For us, the greatest reward is for our guests to leave High Peak with a hunting experience they can’t wait to share – a yarn to spin to their mates, bragging rights in the pub, a tale to impress their colleagues…more than just a trophy.

Our team of experienced, professional guides strive to provide hunters, their families and friends with an authentic, challenging and complete hunting experience. While the quality of our red stags and other trophies are amongst the best in the country, all hunts are conducted in accordance with New Zealand Association of Game Estates (NZAGE) policy, designed to ensure that your hunting experience is just that- an experience that you will remember.

Whether you are an experienced hunter seeking the ultimate in authentic hunting excellence, or someone who is new to this intriguing sport, High Peak can cater to your individual needs, including equipment, mobility, language translation and post-hunting services such as trophy taxidermy and expediting.

Depending on what you seek to harvest, we recommend you allow at least two to three days per species for the hunting component of your trip, or longer if you plan to seek the additional alpine species mentioned in the ‘Our Game Animals’ section.
